Often described as the best view in the Channel Islands Harbor; The Lookout is a beautiful setting to enjoy a great meal, a cold drink, friendly service and fun entertainment on the Central Coast. Under NEW ownership since 5/19/14, we have made profound changes (for the better!) in the food quality, drink selection and overall ambiance of this beloved bar and grill.   Came here on a Sunday afternoon before memorial day with friends and family of 8. Place was packed with incredible live singer who sings non stop - amazing! He definitely kept that place lively. Ordered clam chowder, they were out of sourdough bowl. First taste was good but after that unbearable because it was overly salty, could not consume further. Calamari was not crunchy and drenched in grease. Tuna melt was good but fries again drenched in grease. Come here for the view and live music, skip the food is you don't like salty and greasy stuff.

  Good drink selection. The grill has some decent stuff. The sliders and the jalapeno poppers are good (and hot). The view is pretty nice. A little dated and used, but it still works.

  Food is consistently excellent. Service is always good and friendly. My husband and I have eaten there many times and have always enjoyed the meal.
